Join with us in a warm and welcoming atmosphere as we celebrate Shabbat

Kabbalat Shabbat Fridays at 7pm

Kabbalat Shabbat is on-line except for once a month when we sing along in-person (stream available) with KHL Shabbat Unplugged (usually the 3rd or 4th Friday--check our calendar for dates).  Beginning in the fall we expect to provide a hybrid in-person and on-line experience.  In person celebrations are held in the Church of the Holy Comforter Chapel (corner of W Seminary Ave and Bellona Ave, Lutherville, MD).

Shabbat Morning at 10am

Engage in an interactive mixture of singing, and thoughtful discussion as we navigate Saturday worship and Torah study.  The weekly Torah portion guides our explorations, questions, intentions--looking closely both at the Siddur and the Torah text for the week.  Worship is both in-person at Church of the Holy Comforter Chapel and on-line.

Contemplative Shabbat

Once a month we focus a portion of the service on meditative practices.  Check the calendar for updated Contemplative Shabbat scheduling.
