How to Use Zoom

Here are the directions for joining the Virtual Candle Lighting. The process is the same for each virtual meeting however you will need the specific link for each meeting. You can find these links in the KHL weekly bulletin.

Zoom is a very popular application that is fairly user friendly as far as web meeting applications go.  Steven Silvern has been using zoom for years to generate classrooms for the ALEPH Rabbinic Seminary.  It is safe and mostly easy to use.  Please be assured that this is just for Kol HaLev members and visitors.  No one will be able to access your computer or your camera.

Instructions on using Zoom to join the Virtual Candle Lighting.
Click HERE to link to zoom.
A new window (or tab) will open in your browser and take you to a page that looks like this:
Click "Open Link" on that window.
An application called zoom will open on your computer (the computer might ask if you want to open an application downloaded from the web).  Click yes / okay. It will take you to a screen that says you are joining the meeting.

When you are ready to leave, click "Leave meeting" in the bottom right hand corner of the zoom window.
