DOWNTOWN "LUNCH AND LEARN"

Treat yourself to a break. Spend time with us as we pause and reflect on our lives through reading and discussing Jewish wisdom that has stood the test of time. Our Downtown "Lunchtime Learning" program brings Jewish learning to the middle of the work week. Come discuss the insights and advice of the sages in Pirkei Avot ("Chapters of Fundamental Principals"), a collection of rabbinic maxims and ethical teachings about how to be in the world and what's important.

You, your colleagues, and friends are welcome to join Rabbi Geoff Basik in the on-going Jewish conversation, reading this "wisdom guide" written by and for the sages. We, too, can make time for a little learning to take back into our busy lives at work and at home.

Join us on Tuesday, April 17, noon, at the offices of Ballard Spahr (law firm), 300 E. Lombard St., 18th floor. Bring your own lunch. Drinks are provided. Please let Susan Gewirtz at sgewirtz.khl@verizon.net know of your interest or call 410-299-7967.
